XSIT has an opportunity at the Kirkwood EC office for a Release Supervisor. This position requires the incumbent to oversee release and monitoring related systems. This requires the employee to manage staff, document control functions and facilitate logistics that are related to the release of sterile insects in client’s orchards, such that the company’s targets are all met in compliance with its quality control standards.
Responsibilities:
- Supervision of release staff
- Record keeping and control of product supplies.
- Quality control of releases
- Daily logistical planning within the release process.
- Report maintenance issues to Management
- Liaising with management, pilots, release personnel
- Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and couching
Requirements:
- Matric
- Basic Computer literacy – Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver’s license as well as Motorbike license.
- Experience in an agricultural environment/industry will receive preference.
- Tolerance for stress, ability to work under deadline pressure.
- Will need to word extended hours, including weekends when necessary.
- Physically able to perform the operational requirements of this role.
